We're not quite sure how it's spelled, but we think "Survivor" all-star Rupert Boneham's signature utterance looks something like this in print:

"Yaaaaawwwwhhhh!"

We heard it numerous times Thursday (May 13) in the final, post-finale "All-Stars" wrapup, "America's Tribal Council." Ten million people cast votes for their favorite player, and the 38-year-old father, mentor to teens and self-described former picked-on kid was their choice, walking away with a $1 million check.

And yes, we know host Jeff Probst kept saying 38 million people cast votes in the online-cell phone "All-Stars" poll, and that's true. But that included all the other categories people voted on -- best moment, hottest male and female player and so on. CBS said earlier in the day that only 10 million people voted for the million-dollar winner.

But whatever -- at least CBS gave us a little bit of documentation about how the voting went, unlike a certain other unscripted hit that relies on fan voting to determine a winner.

And speaking of that, was it us, or did the "Survivor" hour seem to go by quicker than most half-hour "American Idol" results shows? Maybe it was the lack of cheesy production numbers and heavy-handed product placement that made things zip along.

Rupert beat out three other guys -- the ever-popular Colby Donaldson, "All-Stars" mastermind/runner-up Rob Mariano and Big Tom Buchanan -- to win the $1 million. Once again, Rob had a handle on the situation, pegging Rupert as "by fah" the most popular player, even though he thought he'd earned the money by his control over the game.

Rupert also had a hand in the fans' choice as the top "Survivor" moment for his pirating of the Morgan tribe's shoes at the opening of "Pearl Islands." Colby, not surprisingly, was voted the sexiest male Survivor, while "All-Stars" winner and Boston Rob's fiancee Amber Brkich won the hottest-female crown. "Pearl Islands'" Jon "Johnny Fairplay" Dalton, sitting in the audience and looking like the lost member of The Hives, was named best villain.

We also found out that "Survivor 9" will take place in Vanuatu, a small island nation in the South Pacific which, Probst tells us, is home to numerous tribes and has some history of cannibalism.

Think Mark Burnett and Co. might play with that theme a little bit come September?
